If we understand how much God loves us, we will never have a bad day. When difficulty comes, we can look to God and His Word, and walk right through it.
God isn’t looking for people to harshly rule. He wants children to bless.
“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!” 1 John 3:1 (NKJV)
The New Living Translation says it this way:
“See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!”
God loves us so much; He couldn’t help Himself. He wanted us. So, here’s what He did.
“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.” Galatians 4:4, 5 (NKJV)
God’s love is beyond comprehension. We’ve never seen anything like it on this planet. We’re familiar with adoption, but God literally gave His Son to get more sons and daughters.
When it seems as if God has forgotten you, you can be certain He hasn’t.
In those moments when you feel alone, you aren’t.
God does not regret the high price He paid for you. He’s thrilled with every one of His sons and daughters.
So, climb onto the Father’s lap, lay your head against His chest, and rest.
Our Father loves us!
