I love a happy ending. I won’t watch a movie or read a book if I am aware the story does not end happily. I will endure some hard times along the way, but in the end, I want happy.
Maybe I am naive or possibly in denial, but there is enough drama in real life; I can watch the news if I want to be depressed. I definitely do not choose to be “entertained” by it.
One day I noticed this verse…
“But the good man—what a different story! For the good man—the blameless, the upright, the man of peace—he has a wonderful future ahead of him. For him there is a happy ending.”
Psalm 37:37 (TLB)
God agrees with me. He also likes a happy ending, so He took it upon Himself to plan a happy ending for each one of us. Just another thing I love about Him.
